For nearly 70 years, Overhead Door Company of Norfolk™ has been the name Hampton Roads homeowners, builders, and businesses trust for garage doors that work the first time and keep working. Founded in Norfolk in 1956, we are the region’s longest-running overhead door company — and the only one in Hampton Roads that sells and services every major garage door make and manufacturer.
From our Virginia Beach headquarters, we serve all of coastal Virginia: Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, and the surrounding communities. Family-Owned Since 1985
Current CEO Alex Bradley purchased the company in 1985, bringing the local ownership and hands-on leadership that still defines us today. Four years later, Ed Jost joined as a partner, and together they’ve grown Overhead Door Company of Norfolk™ into the most established garage door operation in the region — without losing the responsiveness and accountability of a locally owned business.
